Foreign substance floating in apple juice!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I was halfway into drinking one of the bottles from a 6 pack of Clover Valley apple juice I purchased when I saw what looked like a maggot and some other substance floating around inside the bottle also it didn't taste right. At that point I looked at the other bottles without opening them and saw something even more disgusting in one of them which looked like a wad of phlegm! I'm on my way to the General Dollar store I purchased this and try to get a refund. This product is made in Turkey and distributed here in the USA? Maybe something the FDA or USDA should consider checking into.

I'm experiencing severe illness today after drinking their milk. I felt great today before this, was up and energetic, and then I had two glasses of their whole milk, and it felt like I'd suddenly taken too many ibuprofen.

My stomach aches, I feel lethargic and jittery now, and I have a horrible puke-type taste in my mouth.

That's the last time I ever buy their milk. There's obviously something in it that shouldn't be.

Coconut Water

You may as well drink sodas and fruit juice. This coconut water is so overwhelmingly sweet that it instantly gave me a headache I'm not even diabetic. Lower the sugar & this could possibly be drinkable.

So, similar issue around the same time. I was misdiagnosed with the flu and it was later confirmed I had a foodborn illness. Was yours accompanied with flu like symptoms and stomach problems like nausea and/or diarrhea?

Mindy C Atj

Did anyone ever actually call you back? As I imagine a lot of ppl get sick (I know myself and family all have) from their products being bad that weren't expired and were consumed.

They're never going to bother to call anyone back because they assume no one cares about poor people. With those 20+ stores shut down in Ohio, you'd think they'd realize maybe someone does.

Report them to the Department of Agricultures and the food safety.

Report them over and over again. I also got sick from this milk, and no one should be sick even a day because a greedy company is using unsafe ingredients to save a buck or two: https://***/food-poisoning/report-problem-with-food https://***/

Clover Valley is the devil, but that doesn't look like wine to me. It looks like Cranberry juice.

They both sometimes have a similar taste. How do you know it's really wine? Did you have it tested?

Wine is more expensive than Cranberry juice. I doubt any company would intentionally sell a more expensive product for $1-$2 a bottle.

Opening up a brand new jar and right on top is a huge piece of plastic in the actual peanut butter. Do you even have quality control.

Water left out in hot sun, tastes like plastic

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
It seems to be at every dollar general I visit, they stack up bottled water out in front of the store, leaving it to cook in the hot sun. It affects the flavor of the water, and probably makes it unsafe to drink. Recently I bought a pack and I could taste the plastic in it. From now on I won't be buying water from the Dollar General Store.
