Resolved: Whole milk gone bad 10 days before expiration date- twice.
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund.
The past few months we had been receiving milk that looked like it had been previously frozen, as the freeze plugs on the side of the container were bulged out, and several gallons in each shipment were leaking. The last two gallons I bought were not leaking and did not appear to have been previously frozen, but both went bad long before their date. Clover Valley is the DG store brand and is produced by DFA (Dairy Farmers of America).
I submitted a complaint on their website and they said they are sending me coupons for the milk, which I don't plan to use until I'm sure they have resolved the issues. Keep your container if you make a complaint they will need the codes on the container to determine which plant the milk came from.

Do you really think Dollar General monitors their cooler temperatures and makes sure they are functioning properly? Find a better place to buy milk.

Consumer Beware
This Clover Valley is the most disgusting brand I have ever tried, and at my age I have tried them all! You will be sorely disappointed in their products, plus the price you pay for that junk is just plain offensive!!
"Great Value" is a product I find so worth buying! The pricing is very good, and the flavor comes so close to (if not beside) name brand items, this is true on any "Great Value" product. Leave Clover Valley in the dust and STOP lining their pockets with YOUR hard-earned money by spending it on Clover Valley that I feel has far less value and flavor than anything that would even come close to slop!
It has the rich man's pricing and gives it back in homeless type flavor. They are clipping people and that is the bottom line on Clover Valley.
