I opened a can of chicken and stars soup and I dipped my spoon in and on my spoon was a piece of wire. I have decided after reading other complaints. That your company needs to have an inspection. Your food know turns me off. You can guarantee I will no longer buy your product. Will be telling all my friends also. Do something about your products.

Clover Valley - Brown Rice Review from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan
I purchased a bag of Clover Valley brown rice. I went to use it about a week later only to find a mass of moths/insects flying around in the unopened bag! I almost puked, enclosed is a video! I returned it to the DG store, they refused to refund my money because I didn't have a receipt! REALLY???

Normally I'm pleased with your products but, I bought your regular ripple chips $2.00 a bag, got home opened them and I got less then a half a bag. I payed $2.00 and got the amount of a .25 cent bag I'm very pissed about this I know this company can do better. Very displeased and disappointed!

BROKEN VANILLA WAFERS
My last 3 boxes of Vanilla Wafers had about one forth of the cookies at the bottom of the box smashed. It looks like they were delivered by plane and dropped about 500 feet to the store!! They are distributed BY DOLGENCORP,LLC at 100 Mission Ridge, Tn. 37072 WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT - CAN'T UNDERSTAND IT?? YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN THE KISS PRINCIPLE WHICH IS: KEEP IT SIMPLE, ***!! A 100 word minimum is sure a idiotic requirement. Or are you just trying to get people to GIVE UP on the complaint? Have bought them for a long time BUT NOW I am done buying them.

Clover Valley - Strawberry Pop Review
I bought a 2.5 liter of strawberry pop from dollar general and it smells like old rags and tasted like old rags i dont know if this is normal for your pop to smell and taste like old dirty rags but i will never biy any of your products again my children had very bad stomach ache after drinking your pop.

Rancid nuts
I've bought several cans of nuts at DG but most are rancid. The expiration dates are for next year. What's going on with this product? Most nut products I purchase from DG are rancid lately. Someone in production needs to taste test each shipment coming in before distribution. Some DG stores will give me my money back but policy is for me to contact you. So here I am trying to type 100 words. I do not want coupons. I like sunflower seeds, I like sunflower seeds, I like sunflower seeds, they are great on salads. Your devoted customer likes sunflower seeds.

OMG! Took me a while to find a place to post my complaint.
I just opened a can of chicken noodle soup from Clover Valley, that I purchased from out local Dollar General store. Dumped it into the pot, and as I was heating it up I noticed these brown particles floating to the surface. I began spooning them out, one by one. Finally a piece about 1/2 inch long came up to the surface.
I removed it, and put it on a saucer to take a closer look. It looks like a worm or I don't know what. Dark brown, with a skin over the outside of it, and looks like it was cut on one end.
Disgusting! Threw the soup away, but saved this nasty looking thing in water to keep it looking just like it did when I discovered it in the soup, because I really want to find out how I can notify Clover Valley itself.

Everyone knows you need to have your receipt for such a refund, virtually anywhere. To suggest that this is a shortcoming of DG is just sad. Consider it a lesson learned and keep your receipts from now on.
I had one of Clover Valleys pops and it tasted nothing like actual fanta orange pop this is y I think that clover valleys pops suck, Another thing from clover valley that I absolutely despise is your snacks I know that u are a generic brand but come on at least use some quality ingredients that are in some name brand snacks
