CV Roasted and Salted Sunflower Kernels

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
This product overall is fine. However the recent bottle I purchased tastes like paint. Seriously. I dont know if the kernels were processed and exposed to an area infused with fresh paint fumes. DPCI 753519****54, exp date 02/10/2024. I bought a second jar with a different expiration date and those tasted fine. So I dont know what the issue is.

Bad jar of pickles so soft I can smash them in my hand

I just purchased a Gallon jar of the Clover Valley Kosher Dills from dollar general and the pickles are so soft I can literally smash in my hand and the turn to straight mush and juice. This is the worst I have ever seen. These are nasty, the whole jar every single pickle is like this. A waste of $8.00 no one has money to waste on groceries these days. The clover Valley brand is just turning into crap!! Really pissed off. And wasn't given a receipt when checked out with cashier.

I’m curious if this is a recent problem. I just bought the same thing yesterday and they were horrible.

I didn’t realize how bad it was until I took a bite.

The taste was just wrong and the. I realized how soft and mushy they were.

Terrible tasting milk.

I usually never do reviews or complaints online but the Clover Valley milk we bought at our local Millville, Pa Dollar General store was so disgusting that I had to throw it out. I will never buy your products again and from the reviews that were reported had the same problem.

This milk not only tasted terrible, but every time I drank it, I got physically ill. Stomach aches, lethargy.

Normal milk does not do this to me.

It's worth the extra money to get good, refreshing milk. This is barely edible and has so many chemicals, it actually makes you feel worse, not better.

2% milk has a funny taste

I bought a gallon of 2% milk and was so dissatisfied with how it tasted! Its not spoiled and the sellbby date has another week to go. It tasted odd and I thought it was me but my boyfriend agreed that it does not taste good. I have read the various reviews of the clover valley milk and see that there are several. In my research i see that they use different dairies, using dairies located near your store. I don't know how when using different dairies could there be such a bad taste.

Milk is disgusting. Will never buy anything from clover valley

Makes you *** to drink their milk. There has to be a reason and with profits made by seller it will come out. Poor people that buy this milk will be sorry one day when the reason for the *** taste is known

This milk is not full dairy milk. I have no idea what they're putting in it or not filtering out of it to make it taste this way, but it also made me sleepy and actually sick with stomach pains for about an hour after drinking. Planning to switch for good.

Your canned food tastes horrible example your clover brand Chile's were mostly the skin of the green Chile's I had to pick them out. Also I got your shredded wheat

Ceral tasted like cardboard the quality of your clover valley brand is very poor I will no longer buy any clover valley brand. Also the clover valley brand chicken Bouillon has no flavor at all. This will no longer be any money given to clover valley brand food especially your canned fruits and vegetables

Had a 6 pack clover valley apple juice and 1 of them not only tasted straight like alcohol but had visible mold or something growing in the bottom of the bottle! Got very sick. It's 12/22 and was supposed to be good till 3/23! This is not the 1st time Ive bought something this brand that was dated good but had mold, I've gotten a loaf of bread that was moldy half through before.

I would say it is b/c that's how they make wine, it's pretty much just fermented (rotten) fruit juice right? Usually grapes for taste but still just rotten juice.

It sure smelled and tasted like it!!

And my husband is 17 yrs sober and took 1st sip so thats what really made me mad enough to put the review up. We've had several different items clover valley brand be bad that shouldn't be but this was just too much to swallow- literally

I just purchased a container of Clover Valley French Onion Dip 8/26/22 at Dollar General. After opening it, I could see the dip was watery and tasted funny. They are charging more and putting in lesser quality ingredients thinking the customers won't notice. I always buy Clover Valley products and never have had any issues until today. When I went there today 8/30/22 the freezers were broken, and the doors were covered with black tape. Now I know what happened to my chip dip.

Clover Valley - I have bought 3 different 1/2 gallons of milk all at different dollar general...
The milk didnt smell bad, it was 2 weeks before its best by date and it had been cold. It was thick, yet watery and chalky . Yet for some reason I took a drink , it wasnt sour but it was bitter. I dont know why but all 3 separate cartons were bitter like it had chemicals in it. It also upsets my stomach. You may want to try some yourself.

I got extremely sick around the time you did after getting a gallon. In sate, tasted off a bit.

Was your sickness stomach related and flu like? Asking as the doctors assumed i jad the flu at first until other labs came back positive for a foodborne bacterial infection..

I also got sick from drinking this milk. Someone needs to report them to Department of Agriculture and have this milk tested in a lab. They're cleared putting something in there not fit for human consumption.

Caution

Save your receipts in the event you need to do a product review/return. Most Clover Valley products Ive purchased have been good, but this is the 3rd time Ive encountered bad product. The other two were both boxes of CV crispy rice cereal. Both boxes had black charred pieces in the box. They had the same expiration date. A bad batch.

Sweetened condensed milk

Clover Valley - Sweetened condensed milk
I'm writing in regards to the 14 oz sweetened condensed milk I bought. I went to make a pie with this product and needed 10.7 oz of condensed milk for my pies and I had to use 2 cans of this product. I used a 14 oz can and didn't even have enough to make my pies and had t go back to the store to get another can. This is *** since it was a 14 oz can. I should have been able to get my pies made with just one can as I figured it was 14 oz and only needed 10.7 oz. Not very pleased that this isn't as big as led to believe. False advertisement. No
